Biography
Dr. Miller earned her medical degree at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed residency training at George Washington University.
As part of her residency, Dr. Miller completed the specialized Primary Care Track and received numerous accolades, including being named Intern of the Year and receiving a Society of General Internal Medicine Young Scholar Award.
In addition, she spearheaded quality improvement projects to enhance advanced care planning and improve access to mental health care in primary care through collaborative care models.
Dr. Miller also has a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Food Science and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
With many years of education, training, and research in adult medicine, Dr. Miller is thrilled to join Foxhall Internists. Her approach to medicine is patient-centered, with a strong emphasis on shared decision-making. She is passionate about preventative medicine, chronic disease management, nutrition, and mental health, and strives to create a safe and collaborative space for her patients.
Outside of work, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with her fiancé and spoiling her two cats. She also enjoys all things food-related and doing barre and Pilates. A fun fact: She is a former professional cheerleader for the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions, and she loves talking sports.
